About Me
About Me
I am an inclusive, collaborative, and solution-oriented instructional designer. I believe that in order for learners to grow their knowledge and meet their goals that their training must be purposefully designed using adult learning theories, have well-written learning objectives, be relevant, and of course interactive. I would love to incorporate this and more into solving problems to help your organization grow and meet new goals.
I am currently working on staying up to date on instructional design software and best practices by growing my own knowledge. I recently completed an ATD-certified comprehensive program called Applied Instructional Design Academy (AIDA) to formalize my training and grow my knowledge. After meeting my AIDA goals, some of my soft skills now include: e-Learning, collaboration, communication, ADDIE, SAM, time- management, learning objectives, and learner/needs analysis. I have earned many credentials throughout this course and as time goes on plan to continue to grow my knowledge and technical skills.
When I am not designing, developing, or growing my knowledge and tech skills, you can find me spending time with my family, traveling, or hiking with my rescue dog named Jax.
Thank you for the opportunity to share my work. Please feel free to reach out and connect. I look forward to hearing from you!
